If you haven't made any mods to your bike, and you are using a free flowing foam air filter, you are running waaaaay too lean. Too much air + not enough fuel = lean running condition. As I said before, these bikes are set waaay lean at the factory to pass EPA standards. Have you noticed anything peculiar about how it runs since using the foam filter, besides the longer warm up time?
